Our carbon steel square tube is available in two different grades:
- 1005/1018: A non-alloyed low carbon steel designed for primary shaping into wrought items and are suitable for the cold-wrought, strain-hardened state. Among forged carbon or non-alloy steels, it has a relatively high heat conductivity. Furthermore, it has a limited electrical property and a low tensile strength.
- S355: A high-strength, low-alloy carbon steel that is easy to weld and has excellent impact resistance, even at sub-zero temperatures. S355 grade is frequently supplied untreated or normalized, and it is offered in a range of varieties, designated by additional characters or numbers, that offer minor chemical and mechanical characteristics S355 material has machinability comparable to mild steel.
